CNC Subcommittees

​Subcommittees are an integral part of our work. They are open to staff and volunteers from CNC member organizations and non-member organizations. Read more about CNC governance and decision making practices and policies here.

​Subcommittees


Fundraising and Finance
Provide financial oversight for the CNC. Lead effort to create and execute multi-year fundraising plan. Lead process for creating and approving annual budget, monitoring expenses and regular financial reports. Present quarterly financial reports to steering committee.

​Governance and Membership
Lead the coalition on issues related to governance structure, subcommittee structure and process for electing leadership. Facilitate the recruitment of member organizations. Develop plan for member engagement activities and facilitate implementation.

Community Benefits & Strategic Thinking
Organize activities that focus on improving the health of the nonprofit sector and advancing systems changes in Cambridge, through building capacity on the organizational level and sector level.

Supervision:
Provide support and supervision for CNC Managing Director, including providing feedback on first drafts of proposals/materials and steering committee meeting agendas. Manage annual review process.

Convene nonprofit leaders addressing a variety of mission areas to provide support, advice and resources to one another, and identify opportunities for collective action.​​​
