Maria LaPage has worked at Agassiz Baldwin Community* in out-of-school time programs since 2008 and took the helm as Executive Director in 2015. Maria is committed to social justice practices, equity, anti-racism, creating safe spaces for LGBTQ+ people, and using the visual arts to bring people together. As part of the Cambridge Nonprofit Coalition (CNC) since 2015, Maria has served on the Steering Committee and a variety of subcommittees. She is deeply committed to the work of uplifting the Cambridge non-profit sector through collaboration and advocacy, and working across Cambridge to give greater voice to those who are often underrepresented in discussions that impact their lives. Maria holds a B.A. in Elementary Education and Sociology from Beloit College and a certificate from Boston University’s Institute for Non-Profit Management and Leadership.
